WHAT DO PLANE CRASHES AND REMOVING THE WRONG KIDNEY HAVE IN COMMON?

FLOGGING THE INNOCENT - HIGHER PROFITS / GREAT ETHICS / ENJOYABLE WORK

see inside. click on cover!

Book is now for sale.  This book is intended to provide an overview of the issues faced daily by workers and their management and how often there are unintended consequences from good intentions.  And sometimes, the intentions may not be so good.

People often complain when a few managers use the corporate profit motive to justify unethical behavior.  My book considers the cases where the corporate profit motive is ignored for petty personal benefits that might be as minor as feeling powerful at the expense of a conscientious worker.  That is even harder to accept, in my opinion.

Note about shipping rates:

When I buy books on book websites, I am always shocked at how the price might be $5 for a used book and then shipping is $8.  I automatically assumed that the shipping and handling was a way to actually make a small profit on a $5 book.  Having now sent a few books out, I understand that the $8 is a very special price for high volume shippers.  I assure you I will lose a little bit of money on the price I am charging for shipping.  If you receive your book and the freight cost is less than or equal to what I charged, I will send you a FREE book and pay the freight myself!  So feel free to be shocked at the price for freight here, but don't blame me.
